rreford
i'm putting together my '73 240 turbo project. I bought a '75 280 tank and had it boiled out and baffled. now i'm ready to load up with fuel and found that the shop left out the drain plug. I'm having a hard time finding the right size and thread pitch plug to fill the drain hole. can anyone tell me the size and pitch of that drain bolt? NewZed
Just a guess. Wouldn't be surprised if it was like the oil pan drain plug. Internet says M16.4 - 1.33. They're also avaialble from Courtey Parts if you've got time to wait. Cheap. http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsunS30/DatsunZIndex/Engine280Z/FuelTank/FromJul76/tabid/1622/Default.aspx Edited February 18, 2013 by NewZed
