BitchinZ
On the 240Z bumpers how are you mounting them so no bolt heads are showing? Like in these pictures. On the chrome bumpers do you leave those two bolts out and shave the holes? What about the fiberglass bumpers, are there bolts on the backside molded in the fiberglass? Thanks Edited February 19, 2013 by BitchinZ
Mike kZ
Yes the bolts are molded in on the fiberglass units On the chrome bumpers...you usually weld the bumper bolts to the bumper, grind it smooth, then have it re-chromed. Not sure about Z bumpers
nullbound
There are no bolt heads as such on a front 240z bumper. The bumper brackets attach to studs on the back sides of the bumpers. There are holes for the rubber strips and bumper guards on factory 240 bumbers. Those can be filled in. The Euro bumpers don't have the holes for the rubber strips, but do have holes for the bumper guards.
