turbeau
Okay so I finally bought a new pair of wheels for the Z. They are SSR Formula Mesh in 15x8 -14 offset. Current set up is coilovers, 15x7 Konig Rewinds with 205-50-15 in front and 225-50-15 in rear. Lips are unrolled. I did a test fit of the new wheels without tires on the car and they stick out more than I thought they would. I wanted to run a 225-50-15 all around, or a 205-55-15 in the front. To me it doesn't look like I can fit that. What tire sizes do you guys think will fit? I am not into a stretched look like 195s and I think my current 205-50s have too short of a sidewall. Also, I only bought a pair of these, but there is another set for sale in the same specs. If I cant fit the tires I want then I will have to buy a smaller size. Thanks for any suggestions. RebekahsZ
I think you are screwed. If you don't want to flare fenders, return those wheels. You need a positive offset.
srgunz
A +14 would maybe work but I agree, those -14 would need fender work.
s14kouki10
Just roll your fenders. Flares aren't needed for this baby size/offset wheel. Edited April 29, 2013 by s14kouki10
johnc
Yes they are with the offset he has.
HaaJeHaa
Just a little roll and they'll fit fine. If you still have issues get a set of camber plates to get some negative camber for clearance;) I'm running 16x9,5 et -10 with 225/45-16 under stock rolled fenders;) Sits flush.
HaaJeHaa
http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=225&aspect=55&diameter=15&wheelwidth=8&offset=-14&width2=225&aspect2=45&diameter2=16&wheelwidth2=9.5&offset2=-10&Submit=Submit With a 225/55 you'll have about the same clearance with the tire as me and I got plenty of room. rnye
I am running 15x8.5 -2 Work Equips on all fours with NT01s 225s - mild mild stretch and I rolled my rears (which is super easy to do BTW). I say 205/215. Go sticky with a mild stretch. Gorgeous car BTW. Edited May 3, 2013 by rnye
turbeau
thanks haajehaa and ryne those are some good looking cars. i prefer a car with stock fenders and wide wheels. for this fitment i took my existing tires (205-50 & 225-50), put them on the new rims, and put them on the car. i think it looks pretty good

turbeau
I already sold the S. To my girlfriend, and it stays in my garage so I can drive anytime I want. Super Sweet. I DD an 07 350Z, the power is great and it's way heavier than the S so it rides smooth on the freeway. Edited May 5, 2013 by turbeau
