Guest larkja
I have just put a Rebello 3.0L in my Z - awesome engine. I still have the stock SUs and would like to upgrade. I can get a set of brand new tripple Mikunis with an intake for about $1,500 or there is another set of Webber tripple 40s plus intake for sale for around $500. The seller says the Webbers are in great shape. Are there any advantages of one over the other? Thanks much Jim
Mike C
Hi Jim, I think you got this on the wrong board. (This is the Chevy V8 board) Hopefully one of the administrators can move it, but here is my two cents. They are both excellent carbs. The advantage of the new Mikunis is you don't have to wonder if bad gaskets or worn throttle shafts are a problem. I just acquired an intake with triple Del'Lortos for my car.
