The present median price seems to be about $1200-$1400. A lot of it depends on the part of the country you are in and the local availability of the transmission. Guest Anonymous Posted January 13, 2002 Share Posted January 13, 2002 Are you planning on putting a t-56 behind an L-motor?there are several different variations of the t-56. i had a t-56 from a 98 Camero modified to fit an L-motor.A bellhousing from a t-5 equiped 82-83 turbo zx was used as the starting point of an adapter plate. for pics see http://photos.yahoo.com/sss510six good luck.
