Daz
I've been seriously thinking of S/C rather than turbo for my LS 4.8. I found a deal on a Vortech S/C(only) and the bracket on ebay. Does anyone know if it will fit ? its a centrifugal type and I already have to get a hood scoop because my 4.8 has a TBSS intake manifold installed. Domzs
It'll be a tight fit . Most of the kits that i've seen mount pretty far out to the side and Z engine bay is kinda narrow .
Daz
Well I found a bracket that will mount the S/C in front but its $600 !
Domzs
For the C5 Vette or in front of the crank ?
SUNNY Z
Procharger offers plenty of schematics on their website. You can get all the measurements for all the kits available. Be sure to remember rotation. F body is reverse, vette and truck are standard. Not sure of the others. This matters because of where the body of the blower will sit. Either in front of or behind the crank. OR, you could be a pioneer and make your own bracket!
The Infidel
MistaFosta runs a reverse rotation F1r, it was alot of work and it was not a bolt on and go ordeal. You may run into the same issues with a vortech.

mattd428
I vote turbo when you get bored with the power just crank it up.
