thedarkie
I'm replacing my solid front mount with an RT style mount, but I don't have the original bolts to fasten the RT mount to the tunnel. Can someone tell me what size/thread/length these are supposed to be? I had some that I thought would fit but they're not right at all... a quick answer will be greatly appreciated Thanks
RebekahsZ
Try 8X1.25 with a length of 3/4". I'm not totally positive. I usually go to the hardware store and buy a one bolt of a couple of different sizes then go back for the rest of them when I find the one that fits. I'd buy a 8X1.25 and an 8X1.50. I don't think it is big enough to be a 10M.
Administrators SuperDan Posted May 17, 2013 Administrators Share Posted May 17, 2013 Best 50 bucks I ever spent. http://stores.ebay.com/RiverCity-Fastener-Supply/Thread-Identifier-/_i.html?_fsub=3708665012
SUNNY Z
My 280 uses M10x 1.25 x 25 IIRC. Not sure on the length, might be 30.
DuoWing
I went to Autozone and bought those Zinc plate class 10.9 M10-1.25x20mm bolts and they fit perfectly. The 20mm are just slightly longer than stock. This is on my 280Z.
thedarkie
Thanks all. I had put the installation on hold anyway due to time constraints but will be shopping for these bolts very soon! Thanks again
