Guest jt240z
I just spotted an 82 Turbo at the local U-Pull-It. The car only has 87,000 miles on it and the engine looks great. The valve cover paint is even purfect. I'm heading back tomorrow to pull everything that's needed for a 240 conversion. This is my current list of items to pull. I'm looking for anything I may have missed and any tips on how to get the engine out along with all the wiring and sensors. Are there any hidden controls I need under the dash other then the ECU? Here's the list as I have it now: 1: Engine long block including all sensors and fuel injection system. 2: AFM and all interconnecting duct work 3: ECU 4: Ingition coil and distributor 5: Turbo and down pipe 6: Wiring harness (Any tips on how to pull this easily) If you have any addons please let me know. Please include a discription and location of any items. The cost of the entire engine and ECU with harness and connected components is $114.00 plus tax and a $20.00 core charge. I think this is a fair price. Thanks guys in advance. Soon to be JT240ZT
