Naptown Dave
Nothing to it just to do it! With a lot of coffee and a little luck I may make some noise tomorrow. I hope my neighbors like the open headers! Edited August 4, 2013 by Naptown Dave
Naptown Dave
It fired! I still need to finish my fuel lines but have power to the pump. I shot a little gas in the TB and gave it a crank and it took off. Hell yeah!

Domzs
Great choice on tailpipe exists . I was thinking the same thing but I did a single , not ready for fuel cell . I'm also in the process of smoothing the lower rear panel too . Body work has begun , the car will be down for awhile . Getting the body ready for cooler weather so i can plasti-dip the whole car . Domzs
I do feel for all you guys who are building your own cars at home garage without a lift . I'm so lucky that my boss allows me to do my projects at work ( automotive shop ) on the weekends . mattd428
Bout damn time we got an update. Looks good so far glad all those parts I sent you worked out.
Naptown Dave
I ended up grinding about 3/16" off the passengers side stub axle to clear the cv but yeah they have worked out for sure. Rear valance looks pretty good, I have a few little lumps im going to try a shrinking disc on but a little hammer work and filler will take care of it if the disc doesn't. I'm going to start looking on CL for a two post lift. I definitely feel it the next morning after scooting around on the floor for 6the hrs! mattd428
Shrinking disc usually wont take out small bumps ends up be a cat and mouse game chasing oil cans. Just massage he a little bit.........and if that fails kick the sh** out of it.
Naptown Dave
It's really not bad at all, I was expecting more. I think the flat paint will hide some of it. What filler do you pros like?
mattd428
Not bondo way too heavy evercoat makes nice finishing glaze. Proform is some of the nicest filler ive used sands well and minimal pin holes. Proform finishing glaze is also nice. Just be glad you dont have my quarter panels they are all bondo. One of these days Ill fix them...........maybe.
Naptown Dave
That was the shocking thing about this car, there was a little bit of filler on the roof and I popped that dent with a torch. The rest of is clear. There is plenty of rust but no filler!
