Thanks. Actually Monday was the big day but just got around to posting it. That was with open headers. Hope to finish all wiring inside the car, put dash, steering wheel and a seat in it by Sunday next week to be able to bring it to an exhaust shop the following week so I can at least start shake down driving it before it all starts goin back together.

It slows down the closer you get. The devil is in the details. Even after being as perfect as I could on the wiring, a year later I'm now having trouble keeping my battery charged. The gremlins are a bugger! Disconnecting battery when I park it for now. Take your time and you will thank yourself later.

That's what I keep telling myself. I really want to do it all and as right as I can the 1st time, so once it's done, all I have to worry about is putting gas in it and driving it. No more taking it apart for anything major hopefully. ( Until I want more power!)

Wow ! Don't see how some of you can do it . Took me 4 weekends to pull the motor out of the Fbody and the Z , and got it on the road . I would go crazy and discouraged to have a project takes that long . But now I'm doing all my detail work , like paint/body and interior . At least I can enjoy the Z while I'm doing other thing to it .

My new tires came in today and they were much wider than I expected. These 245/40-17 rivals were over an inch wider than the 245/45-17 sumitomos that were on my wheels. I never would have thought it would be that much difference. I have maybe 3/16" clearance to the spring on the inside and a little more than that on the outside.
