s14kouki10 Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 I have rust by the hood hinge area, any ideas on how to fix it without replacing the core support or anything major. Here are some pictures of my main concern. The rust has gone to the engine bay . I'm not a welder so i plan on taking to someone that "knows", just looking to see what you guys would do. Phantom Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 Looks like you have more that rust issues in that area to me. Has the car been hit there in the past? You need to find a really good metal worker shop. I'd suggest a restoration shop so that it gets done right.
