Passenger-side switch on console

I have a 72 240z... mostly still original, so I can't imagine this is an added switch (but who knows...)

 

On the passenger side of the console, there is a black switch with 3 wires attached:

blue/red,

blue/yellow

and green.

 

The only electrical modifications I've noticed that have been done to the car was when the heater was removed by a previous owner.

 

I flipped the switch several times and can't figure out what it's attached to. (I'm thinking it's a remote control for my neighbor's garagedoor opener.) I checked over my wiring diagram and can't find it.

 

 

Any thoughts?
