Guest bigjim240z
ok..i used to run an l26 with e88 head and a big isky cam, downdraft webbers and a header. the car ran quite well...now i have an l28..with an n42 head. im gona get the same cam as i had in the other engine..but i have a little problem, the n42 uses a drilled cam and the e88 used a non drilled cam. how can i use a non drilled cam on a nn42 head? is it possible to just use the e88 cam towers and oil bar with a non drilled cam on the n42?..the drilled cams are way high priced and i can have a non drilled stock cam reground to any specs i want fo 75 bucks. any help is appreciated..thanks jim
yo2001
the oil holes on the head are located at same place so you can swap the older cam towers with newer ones. I'm going to be running e88 head with drilled cam and N47 cam towers. Just change the whole set.

Lockjaw
OK but just remember, rumor has it that to run a spray bar and an internally oiled cam is supposed to be a no no. I never found that to be the case, but I have read that somewhere. Maybe it was the person who said you can't swap cam towers. HEHE
