yo2001 Posted October 18, 2002 Share Posted October 18, 2002 I'm running schnider 274 deg/ .480" lift cam in my car now and I'm getting tired of it I think It just not pulling hard pass 6k rpm. Even with 10.3:1 compression (the cam powerband supposed to be 2k-6k rpm) I want to be shifting at little below 7k every gear. I was cranking 210-220 psi of pressure with this cam so I'm think I need just a little bit bigger cam. I've retarded some cam timing but still not as hard as I want on top. I've couple chioces now, clifford 288 deg/.510" lift cam, web cam 266 deg/.488", or schnider 270/280deg/.460". Any suggestion would be nice.
