Guest Anonymous Posted November 3, 2002 Share Posted November 3, 2002 the head should be torqued to 58-61 ft. lbs. done in 3 stages. Start in the center and work tward each end. If you use turbo head bolts you can torque the head to 65-68 ft. lbs. The most important thing is to use a high quality torque wrench, NOT some POS sears or worse cheap model!!!
