David K
Alright paycheck came, engine and head going out to machine shop TOMMOROW. L28 block L28 rods L28 Crank L28 n/a flattop pistons P90A head Felpro Gasket What i need to know is what should i have the engine shop bore the block to? They say they only do it to customers spec. The block has never been machined before. Per what one of the members here on the board (awdgsx?) gave me info on, i will be renewing my p90a lifters. I will be soaking them in deisel fuel for 1 week starting tonight. The P90a head will not have any work done to it other than hot tank and surfacing. I have square port headers for a 75-76 w/egr fitting that i will be using. I want to use a turbo AFM, turbo fuel pump, and turbo injectors. I plan on advancing the timing, and for some reason i have this idea i will get more power out of the extra fuel. ill find out.
yo2001
I don't think you'll need to bore up just honed since I assume you are still using standard size pistons? What are you building anyway?
