Mirage775
Hello, I'd been looking for a block to rebuild and some P90 heads as well for the last couple of months. I found both, today, in a local junkyard for $300! I know the head's worth more than that! It's missing the turbo and exhaust manifold, but I'm not worried about that! I was planning on doing a 0.040" bore, new pistons/rings. I would like a decent cam, better than stock? I plan to get the head reworked, port and polished too. Can I use the tri Weber carb and Canon intake with an 83 block? I want to get rid of my fuel injection. Plan on headers, what do yall recommend? Any help, performance wise, that will get me 200ish HP?
SleeperZ
You'll probably want to replace the turbo dished pistons with flat top pistons.

SleeperZ
I don't think there is anything atypical about the newer block that would keep you from building it up like any other L6. If you want 200+ N/A horsepower, you will need to focus on the head, I see no issues with using the turbo bottom end. Just use the appropriate head for the carburation and headers you want, or pick your head and figure out the best way to match the cannon intake and headers....wide open.
