blu240z
I'm not new to the z but new to the ls motors in a z, would like to thank everyone on hybridz.org I would never have gotten my L28 turbo running with out you. I just picked up a 2004 ls6 engine I took the whole wiring harness including fuse box with positive and negative cables my question is can I just hook up the positive and negative cables still hooked up to the fuse box to make it run, I know I have to remove vats ? socorob
http://www.lt1swap.com/wiringharness.htm You can go here and see what wires it needs to run. Very easy to follow. All my harness cost me was a roll of solder and some heat shrink tube.
randy 77zt
I just stripped and rebuilt an ls6 harness from a 2004 corvette.I got a 1 year Alldata(online gm sevice manual) susbcription for the vette to get the pinouts and diagrams from the vette so I could be sure not to strip out anything that could be needed later. The lt1swap.com has good info but the vette was a little different plus I like to double check my work. The guy that runs the lt1 site will reflash your ecm to get rid of excess stuff like vats and smog if you send it to him.
