mistafosta
Just wanted to post up my latest intake, so you guys have ideas of what we can use. This is a GMPP ls7 intake with the 6061.com LSX elbow on it. It clears the stock hood without issues. (quite a bit more room, possibly 2" of space)
Phantom
Who's engine mounts are you using? I have JCI mounts and I don't think that set-up would clear my hood. It looks like it's 3-4" higher than a stock LS1 intake manifold.
alainburon
That looks impressive, very nice.

zspeed22
Now how about if you have a throttle body coming forward, and a 3 inch pipe off of it do you still have clearance forward? Does look really cool as it sits.

torqen2k1
The Holley high rise intake, the mid rise should clear though.
texis30O
I clear..... I can take some more pics later if you need them. I have a LS2 (L92 block) with a Maggie 1.9 on top. I am mounted on Hawk's 3rd Gen motor mounts. I fit all under the hood.
Ryan Merrill
The Holley high rise intake, the mid rise should clear though. Should clear? do you know for sure. I have an LS1 intake that I want to swap out for the midrise but I think it will hit not just the hood but hood latch
torqen2k1
The mid rise im pretty sure, but I can't confirm if it will clear the hood latch as I cut it off. I am also using hawks mounts to. Sorry about the pictures being sideway. The last picture is with the edelbrock high rise intake. Darek
