Datsun#1 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Share Posted July 22, 2015 Had one bent valve.replaced it.re timed cam.all is good! car runs much better.retimed everything.distributer at the crank,timing chain,camshaft and ignition.runs smooth. Xnke Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 Considering that if you have the Dowel Pin in the #3 position, and the cam sprocket was actually timed to the #1 dot on the outer of the cam gear...there is no possible way that the engine ran. And the engine did run.just horribly.when I say no power,I mean NO power.lol got it running damn good now.a little more work and possibly a dyno run to get everything right.
