260DET
For circuit racing, anyone got experience with this type of torque converter? TCI for example claim up to 98% efficiency and down to 2000 RPM stall athough 2500 would suit mine. One way for to tell how efficient a TC can be is the amount of heat it puts out, how big a cooler is required. I find it hard to accept that 98% efficiency is possible, if it is then sounds like it would be very suitable for circuit racing.
260DET
Think I must be the only nutter with a 4L85E/LS3 combo in his 280ZX built for circuit laps. No clutch to mess around with plus full throttle shifts FTW in my book.
