grumpyvette Posted November 30, 2001 Share Posted November 30, 2001 Cerberus unless you get new springs and rework the valve guides and spring seats theres no way that a stock chevy springs on a stock LT1 head will work with a lift of over about .530 and thats at coil bind! with no clearence at all!CHEVY SAYS THAT YOU CAN,T EVEN USE THE HOT CAM WITH ONLY A .525 LIFT WITHOUT CHANGEING SPRINGS!
