ransomnotes
Just looking to see what others have done when installing a rear strut bar on a 280z. I don't like the idea of leaving the seatbelt roller exposed. One of my ideas was to cut notches in the plastic covers so that they fit over the bar and still cover the seatbelt roller. Not sure if I have any other option....

LanceVance
Cutting a close fitting cutout may prove difficult depending on how brittle the old plastic is and how the strut bar body comes off the strut top. Perhaps wrapping the whole thing in leather vinyl with a velcro flap would allow for a finished look without having to worry about the cuts? ransomnotes
Thanks guys! I guess I'll just have to bolt them on and see what I'm looking at as far as modifications go. Just wanted to see what other people have done. After a lot of searching I didn't see many 280's, mostly 240's.
