marinez
Hi all. I hate to dump this here, but I'm stuck. I have a T5 trans mated to a 327. I'm curious about clutch actuation. Can you use the stock clutch master, or not, and what if any parts can or will not work? It presently has a th350 in it that has "crime scened". Any advice would be very appreciated. Drake75z
From reading on this forum I have found that the z slave doesn't have enough throw to disengage the clutch properly. A common affordable way is to get a camaro master and slave and add clearance to firewall and trans tunnel. I'm going to be using a 350 and a t10 and that's my plan based off my research. It seems pretty straight forward. You could also go with the internal slave I beleive but that's a little pricy and a pain to bleed.
Miles
Type "t5 clutch master cylinder" into one of the search windows and you will see several threads on how to set up the T5 clutch MC and slave.
