Jaymanbikes
I have a 280Z that I just put a new bushing kit on, I also installed new struts and 1" lowering springs. The driver side is about almost 3/8"" lower in the rear. The springs are in their perch's and the car drives great. any thoughts on what might be causing this difference? Thanks
Pharaohabq
Are the springs in right side up, and is that height difference with someone in the seat?
Jaymanbikes
Well, the springs came with no directions, the only markings were the part number on the spring, I installed them all with them with the part numbers oriented the same way. They are the Vogtland brand springs. Didn't really know there was a right or wrong direction. As the car has begun to settle, the difference is only about a 1/4" at best which is negligible to me. grillhands
VA on the coil goes on the front and HA are the rears. Search vogtland springs and it will show that VA is vorderasche. Which means front axle in german. Funny thing is my rears tires 2255016 scrap on turns even with cutting 1 inch off the lip to fit fender flares. Jaymanbikes
Thanks for the information, yep, I had one HA and one VA front and rear, made for about a 1/4 to 3/8 difference in ride height. You would think they would put something in the way of directions in the box. I also did not find anything about this on their website.
