MOJO13
Anyone know of headers I can use with a T5 5-speed tranny? The ones I have will not clear the Clutch slave cylinder and I am afraid that it is too close to it, being that it is plastic.
Guest Anonymous
What headers have you got?
MOJO13
I bought them from Motorsport auto. I think they were designed for use with an automatic tranny. I think they are S&S brand. I think they could be modified, but am worried about the heat on the slave cylinder.
John Scott
Shortys or full length? JS
MOJO13
Full Length would be nice, but I will use whatever works.
Guest Fast Frog
MojoZ: I'm using Hooker Block Huggers(1 5/8") with a 2 1/2" exhaust and I've got a WC T5. My engine is also in the JTR set back position. The exhaust clears the slave cyl about 3-3 1/2". I've never had any trouble with heating up the slave cyl. dsommer
Rick (fast frog), What heads are you running? Are they angle plug or straight plug? Thanks, David
Guest Fast Frog
David: I'm using Edelbrock Performer RPM hds with straight plug openings. Rick
John Scott
Were the headers you ordered from Motorsport full length or shorty. Trying to see what works and what doesn't as well. JS
MOJO13
I bought the full length headers part # 10-1832.
