deMideon
Thanks!! I ended up getting it. Sounds like a very good deal. It is taking a chance though. I would have ended up spending more than that to get the same thing!
BLKMGK
Anyone see the HotRod mag on the newstand? Some company is selling 377 shortblocks pretty cheap with Hyper pistons. IMO that's pretty sweet and worth looking at!
Racin_Jason
Joe, Sounds like you got a good deal on a stout short block. Just a warning from a longtime ebay user, if I may. When you pay this person, make sure you a have a solid leg to stand on incase of fraud. I find that Paypal with my CC works well. The reason for my concern is the feedback of your seller.. http://cgi2.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=princesspatty]http://cgi2.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=princesspatty]http://cgi2.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=princesspatty One of his complaints is on an engine sale..and its a nasty one. be careful, Jason
Peternell
Jason, I didn't buy it, "Demidion" did, I just found it and posted it. I agree, this might be an item for escrow services. Maybe an local fellow HybridZ member is in the area and could ckeck it out for the fellow member? Or maybe Demidion got enough info and feels confident with the seller. I've done a lot of deals on E-Bay (nearly 100)and have yet to get burned. The one who complained about the engine only has done 3 E-Bays deals, and info on the item and purchase price is gone. Several factors such as newbies paying way too much for items, buyers lack of knowledge, unrealistic expectations on the buyer part, etc. could lead to a buyer felling they got hosed. But then it could have also been a case of the Seller selling junk.

deMideon
Well I did use PayPal.... I didn't think of asking here for someone to go take a look at it .. A little too late now. It's going to be here by Friday. I just hope the seller is honest about what's in it and the milage. Luckily for me my next door neighbor owns a engine rebuilding machine shop so I can have him look it over and get a good opinion of what I've got!
