240hoke Posted December 21, 2002 Share Posted December 21, 2002 hello all, i'm about finished with my turbo swap into the 260 and soon it will be time to tune the sds. I was wondering if some people could post there sds maps and tell a little about their setup, i would like to compile a list and post them on my website for everyone to use. My setup is basically a stock 280zxt engine(only internal mod is comp 3-way valve job)with 240sx tb, 3"exhaust, NPR I/C, and SDS. I look forward to your input! Guest Zcarsmakemyheadhurt Posted January 10, 2003 Share Posted January 10, 2003 Austin, its hard to give a map not all cars are the same and geografic location makes a difference in what has to be done to make the car run. Use the map tables given with the SDS for a base and tune the car on race gas for hi boost settings, at the track or on the dyno. Also I would use a EGT for accurate mixture readings. Good luck. Clifton Posted March 10, 2003 Share Posted March 10, 2003 I would really recommend a larger injector than the stock 280ZXT ones before you spend a lot of time getting it programed. You can easily max them out with your set up and 15 psi. The motor is capable of much more than they can flow and with stand alone and more boost, it can be easily achieved.
