TubboTheGreat
Hello Z gurus, I have a 1972 Datsun 240z, I picked it up from South Carolina for $900 if you guys were curious, I have the original motor which has a Turbo Tom kit on it that's blown up and a L24 which is being sold tomorrow because I have decided to go down the route of the L28ET. For $600 I'm getting the L28ET short block with oilpan, crank, rods, mains, pistons, oil pump, timing cover, P90A head, intake, turbocharger, fuel rail, engine harness, ECU, oil pump drive for the turbo distributor, oil supply line for turbo, and factory oil filter block for external oil cooler from New Jersey. What I would need to get is a distributor, injectors, downpipe, and exhaust manifold. Also I have questions about the Turbo Tom kit, I want to combine parts from the Turbo Tom kit and the L28ET and make something cool. I am a complete novice when it comes to working on cars and I want to use this quarantine to learn how to work on these engines. Any advice is appreciated. The Z as it was loaded up in SC The Z on my driveway Turbo Tom engine
