robotbbq Posted August 15, 2022 Share Posted August 15, 2022 Hello RB-Z Folks, I have an RB swapped Z that I am working on. I intend to put AC in it as well as electric fans. I am working on the wiring now and I have a question about the fan relay trigger. I found this ECU Pinout chart: I see that there is a Fan Relay trigger on pin 6. However, other pinout diagrams I have found don't show this. I am wondering if there is really a fan trigger signal on an ECU that didn't have an electric fan? The car the engine came from may have had a viscous mechanical fan. I suppose I could install another temp sender to signal an electric fan relay, but it would be nice to do it all through the ECU. Jcmclaughlin81 Posted August 29, 2022 Share Posted August 29, 2022 It won't work. I tried on mine and ended up buying a Mishimoto fan controller.
