Guest bigjim240z Posted September 29, 2002 Share Posted September 29, 2002 ok..i just bought a 1983 280zxt and am going to yank everything and drop it into my 240z...i need some help with what wires to pull out of the car...im clueless on the harness stuff for this engine..has anyone done this swap and documented what wires go where?..i know i should get a book but thats not gona really help that much..i need someone who can say the blue wire with the white stripe goes to here...wiring isnt my specialty...fabbing is..any help is appreciated!..thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't use the idle control or egr stuff, so can't help you with that. Also hooked the fuel pump up directly with the ignition, so it's not controled by the computer. JSM Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Hijacked an old thread after not finding my answer. I bought a 82zxt parts car and want to fleabay the wiring harness and computer. Does the wires that connect to the coil have to be cut out of the car? It looks like it leads straight into the mass harness under on the drivers side. Mine is an 82.
