Man, from scratch? That would be a PITA not to mention the cost of 5/8" 6061 and then I have to add injector bosses. The stock manifold is a great starting point. I used a boring bar to hog the ports, but the runners are not that big. The tubes are 1.5"(16G) which means 1.375" ID. It should flow well, but not much more can be removed from the stock intake manifold as I had a few thin spots. Will keep you updated.
