denny411
Has anyone (besides me) considered running fenderwell headers? I`m thinking it would be a good way to get some heat away from the engine and trans, as well as clean up the engine compartment. I saw a set of corvette fenderwell headers on ebay that could have easily been modded to fit, but I snoozed and lost out. Grog
I haven't considered it, but I do have a 1978 (May) issue of Popular Hot Rodding with a cover story of a 240Z with a BB Chevy that runs the exhaust out the fenderwells. It has good pics. I could scan a few and email them to you so you can have a look see. Also in this issue is a story of Evil Knievel's V-8Z using a Nordskog conversion kit (are they still in business?). I can't post the pics due to copyright restrictions, but it can be copied for private or educational purposes. Let me know. Grog
mobythevan
If you scan a couple of those pics, could you send them to me as well. I may go with sidepipes and I am looking into several different ways to route out of the engine compartment. I am replacing the frame from the radiator back, so this leaves me several options while I am hacking up the engine compartment.
denny411
Sounds cool, even being a big block it could still give good info on the relationship of the header to tire clearance.
Guest Aaron
Evil Knievel's V-8Z using a Nordskog conversion kit (are they still in business?) Nordskog is in buisness, but I think they are only making guages and some street rod parts. This is the web site I have for them in my favorites, but I am getting an error right now.
