DemonZ
Sorry for the cross post. Too Freaky??? how hard would this be to mod? I think the GN is triggered by the cam position. That would be a PITA to do on an L. Problem is, there's a SpeedPro B2B ECM I have in mind, but it is set up for DIS from a GN, so I'm wondering how I could get this to work. Scottie, Greg, BLKMGK....anyone?
BLKMGK
SpeedPro could mod it for what you want I'm sure. If it's a good price that's a decent box IMO. Just make sure you research what options you want. The SpeedPro box has some limitations - you lose idle control if you go full sequential for instance. Pretty sure about that anyway so check it out if that's a concern. SpeedPro can best answer your questions. Their techs hangout on one of the GN boards - Scottie probably knows which one. Get the W/B option if you can afford it.
Guest Anonymous
I am using a GN Speed-pro ECM on my L6 Z car. Also using the GN coilpack, crank trigger as well as cam sensor. You will need it all. You only give up knock control with the sequential, but the sequential is really a waste unless you also want individual cylinder control. Cody 82 ZXT
Sorry for the interuption. Hey greg, haven't seen you on any of the boards in awhile. You helped me out several times a couple of years ago. Thanks
Scottie-GNZ
Hey Greg, Whats new with the GN? I just got back from Reynolds.
Mudge
Are you guys talking about using the GN's stock computer, or an aftermarket setup? I was wondering about using a V6 setup from a GM car, since Tunercat supports alot of GM products...
