Guest eric-z
has anyone thought about using the early Z manifold, converting it to efi and fabing two throtal bodies where the carbs used to be? what do you guys think?
Guest Anonymous
I believe twm induction sells SU styled FI throttle bodies, would almost be like a TBI rather than an SFI type setup though (somewhere inbetween anyway). http://www.twminduction.com though if you want to look. Mike C
You then have to "sync" the throttle position sensorst just like you do with the dual carbs or only run one but you need to have the throttle body linkage precisely synchronized. The single throttle body is a better way to go IMO. Anytime you can minimize the number of parts you maximize reliability.
Guest empracing
except when your chacing power! i wanted to use them because of the air distributation propitys of the twins i belive that the standard L28efi manifold had problems with leaning the rear cylinders out and over fueling the front this twin tb idea would probably fix this am i right? any way i got my car running with the stock fi intake running E.M.S brand computer today so it will do for now
