If I get a rebuild kit, can I build my own Hybrid turbo? Using the turbine from my ZXT? If so, what about the 360 degree bearing thing I have heard about? It maintains reliability with high boost? I'm not a total retard, I just can't remember the name of the part. I am a pretty crafty guy so the actual rebuild procedure should be no problem. Guest 280Tom'z Posted February 19, 2003 Share Posted February 19, 2003 the 360 degree thrust bearing is better than the 270 degree in the fact that there is no gap you can rebuild it (ive done many) but and there is a BUT you must have the bearing housing with turbines together VSR balanced i dont kno where you can get it done but im sure you can have it sent off this is very doable but call around to Greedy or what ever you have in richmond if ya need any more help drop me a line!
