Lewis Maudlin
I just got a ferrari kit that was in the process. All wiring has been removed from the car. My last V8 conversion did not involve a lot of wiring. I left everything in tact? Can anyone recommend a good wiring harness? After I get the harness and fuse block, will it be a big paid to re-wire everything? Is there any harness that is better than others? Any help is appreciated
Tim240z
As far as I know the 'off the shelf' harnesses are very expensive. I started from scratch with supplies from Waytek wire. I posted the part numbers a few months ago. This is what mine looks like (to work with the LT1): Tim
Lewis Maudlin
Yes, but all the wires are gone, including interior, relays, fuse block, tail lights, etc. Am I sunk? Won't one of those fuse blocks run everything? Or will I have to put in relays too? How big of a chore will this be?
Tim240z
Lewis, I gutted ALL the wires out of mine and started from scratch. I did not want to rely on 30 year old wiring. It's not that big of a deal. I am also using aftermarket gauges etc. The longest time was sorting out the wires for the LT1 PCM. I am also not running a stereo, heater windshield wipers defrosters etc, but adding those circuits would be easy. Tim
