Any quarter-mile times for 305-powered Zs?

I keep seeing ugly-but-good-running 80s Caprices, F-bodies, Montes, etc. with 305s going for dirt cheap, and I'm thinking of doing a quick-and-dirty swap into a hideous beater-iffic 280Z (I dig fast cars that look ugly and slow). My question is, could I get into at least the low 14s with a stock or damn-near-stock mid-to-late-80s 305? What are the "good" 305s? I've never taken that engine seriously, so I don't know much about them, but the low price tag is really getting my attention lately.

I've had good luck w/ my 305. i'm running a tuned port injection setup on it and i ran a 13.167 @ 102mph w/ stock heads and mild crane cam. i've recently installed alum heads and block hugger headers. ran a 13.1@105 but spun the first hundred feet. if i get it to hook up, should be in the high 12's. i'll probably go to a 350 later, but right now it's a personal thing. i like pissing off the ford five-o guys by beating them w/ GM's slow motor. :D

BTW,

i haven't dyno'd it, but my old quarter mile numbers plugged into the horsepower calculators say 228-230 hp at the back tires (weight 2700 w/ driver). should be about 240 now w/ the alum heads and headers. later
