I am looking at getting a car from LA and have it ship to Oakland with some other parts along with the car. Anyone have any ideas? The only problem is, my friend flaked on me about going to go pick up the car so my plans about picking up the car is shot to heck. I want to know how much it would cost to just ship it up here. But that thing that you attatch to the brake pedal does, unless you dont have a brake shift interlock. A friend of mine had his 90 Camry broken into and he had one of those and when he came back to the car it was still running but they left it because they couldnt shift it out of park. BTW I was suppose to get my dad's old 240z but I took a closer look at it and it is pretty much rusted! So that idea is out of the window. Guest Look A Z Posted March 12, 2003 Share Posted March 12, 2003 I was talking to my co worker today and he agreed to go to LA with me!!! We have known each other for a couple of months are we are friends but I never knew he would help me out like that. After I told him that I am not sure if I can go to LA because of my cousin flaked, he was like when do you want to go? I am leaving probably Saturday night and coming back Sunday with the car!!!! Well everyone just wanted to tell you, thanks for all of the help. Looks like I can probably make it to the NorCal hybrid Z meet if I can get part of the day off. Sounds good everyone? No problem at all, he will be also checking out the car just to make sure I am able to drive it back to the Bay Area. He is a great guy so far.
