Guest nafario
I just got my 5.0 together, and a friend suggested I should get it dyno'd. So I called a local performance shop to get an quote. The price was 660.00 dollars! Does that sound right? Or too much
BRAD D
Should be around 100$ an hour.
BLKMGK
Just looking for power or tuning? 3 runs for $80 is what we get around here, sometimes less.
Guest Your Car is Slow
3 runs with an A/F sniffer runs anywhere from 75 to 100 bucks as the norm. tuning runs a bit more depending on the area...but 660 is nuts.

80LS1T
I get to run on a dyno at my school for FREE!!!!!! Yeah aren't I a little bastard! Since I am attending Fox Valley Technical College for a Automotive Technology Degree I get to run on the dyno for free. We have a Mustang Dyno. However when other people want to run on it we charge $60 for 3 runs. We also have a 3(or 4) gas analysier(sp?). Can't wait to get the LT1 on there in about a month and a half! Guest jim@speednation
Here in Pittsburgh PA we charge $75 for ten pulls (40 minutes max time) on our Mustang or $100 an hour. We do discounts if you get three or more people to come out at the same time, price goes to $65 for ten pulls. The dyno will be open this weekend (was closed for the winter) and we take appointments at 724-926-3735.
