Guest Ozoner
Would the Simmons F15 15" X 6" wheels fit on a 75' 280Z with no spacers needed? Simmons rep says they don't need a spacer an will be within a few mm of stock offset. Anyone have these wheels, or know if spacers are required? Mudge
What is thier offset then? A few mm obviously isn't much.
Guest Ozoner
I just talked to Group A/ Autotrend, one of the US reps for Simmons. The guy I talked to was clueless about the offset on a 280Z. He said they could make the wheel in any offset and bolt pattern. I read in another post the the early Z's had 0" offset. Would this be true for my 1975 280Z? fl327
early Z like 0 offset, most nissan stock rims were +10-13 depending on width, the 15x6 usually 10, the 14x5 closer to 13 to push them even with fender lip.
Guest Ozoner
So on the 15" X 6" wheel with say, 205/60/15 tires, what offset should I use? The car has been lowered but all other suspension parts are stock. I don't want to rub the fenders or struts. Ozoner
Guest VertexZ
simmons are 3 peice wheels so they can be made to any offset. Stock 1st gen Z offset is either 0mm or 10mm im not sure but either will fit
