do you think it is worth bidding on?

First of all remember it's a 2+2. If you really want a 2+2 get it (personally I don't care for them but don't let ME sway you one way or the other). The car seems to be all there the problem is it's in PA which raises the dreded RUST issue. I had/still have a rusty car, I abandoned ship on it due to rust however for $600 that I gave for it it made a wonderful parts car. I sold parts on E-bay and to local Z-er's, nabed the R-200 from under it and easily got my $$$ back out of it.

The paint IMHO would not be the deciding factor of purchase or not, hell how many of us have a paint job that's not even that decent???

Just remember it's a 2+2, either you love em or ya hate em. Get what YOU want.

2+2 is you BigWhyteDude

Yeah clearance may be an issue... BTW There's been this guy picking on me could you swing by and... Just kidding.

Have you driven a 280 2+2? I know somebody that may be willing to sell theirs in North West Arkansas. I could ask him. It's been sitting for a while and the guy is pulling his hair out as to why it won't run, he thinks it the cold start injector. He asked me the other day if I still had the twin SU carbs off my 240, Hell I offered hime the entire engine for $400 he passed, another local came and got it with a clean radiator electric fan, Crane ignition and a 280 dash and a few other goodies for $400. So ya want me to ask him how much?

"Limited slip rear differential" in a 2x2 ? haha

I think this guy is slightly confused, unless he has indeed

swapped in the lsd *doubtful* but who knows... if you look at the rear end picture, on the rear quarter-panel near the tail lights you can

see severe rust or sign of rear impact crumple of the body :o

imo, you can get a better 280Z then this for comparable money...

thanks for the offer to ask him but thats a lill far from Ga and i would really like to see te car befor i buy. BUT, if you guys know anyone in Georgia souther SC or Northern FLa that wants to sell a 75-78 280z let me know please. I have one more question for now for yall, Are the 84-86 300zx's about the same size as the 280z on the inside? If so then i will have no problem fitting in it. My uncle has an 86 300 that i love to dive when i can. (which is not often enough i have to say). Any who, thanks again.

I'm 6'2" and have no problem fitting in a non-2+2 Z, FWIW

It depends more on torso and leg length. I'm 6'3" and can't fit in my neighbor's miata w/ hardtop on, but he is the exact same height and drives it daily with no problems.

BigWyteDude, I would recomend finding local 2+2 for a test fit.
