Mudge
Anyone have an idea why I would blow the ACC wiring portion of the fusible link section? The wire went up in smoke the first time, so unhooked the battery and tried to see why, didn't figure anything out so jumpered where the wire was before and it does it again. I have to assume this means there is a short somewhere so I will track it down on the harness (going to try anyway). This is on the fusible link strand, which is coming off the + battery terminal and going to the FI part of the harness.
Mudge
Could someone with a turbo car and stock computer setup PLEASE do a simple favor for me. Wiring appears different on this relay for the NA car, different color wires and only 4 used, maybe even only a 4 prong relay I dont know. The bright green EFI/EGI relay, on my car first has a connector like so: blue/red stripe| Black/white st | | <-Green Yellow solid .. | | <-Yellow All I need is to know which wires go to which lead on this 5 prong relay. There is another relay right next to it, black with 4 wires which I have thankfully, whatever it is. Wire colors are different so doesn't give me alot of clue as to the other. The connector I have makes it appear that there was yet another connector attached to it which would have somehow been misplaced, because it is not ready to accept a relay as is. This should be in the vicinity of the fuseable link coming off the negative battery terminal as well.
Lockjaw
What kind of car are you putting the turbo engine in, the 240? If so you should only have one relay, the green one, and it should stay as is. I made a connector to hook up a turbo efi harness in an NA ZX, but I don't think that applies to your situation. I have a ZXT at home, and it has a Nissan ECU, just not a stock one. Mudge
Yep, I've got the green relay, it still will turn but will not fire or give power to the ECU yet, so I need to cover the other open wires and see if I might even have something crossed, due to ACC seeming to freak out. This is an 82 setup in a 73 240.
