The only thing that may make it difficult is if the pin that holds the hub to the lower control is seized in place, they can be a bear to get out. I have never had all that much trouble, even at the JYs, maybe I've just been lucky. Tim BTW, you may want to change the word "advice" in your signature to "advise". Georgia Flash Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 Even if the pin is frozen you can still change the strut, right? So I say do not worry about trying to get that sucker out. I beat and banged on mine a little without it even budging so I decided to leave them alone for now. Haven't tackled the struts or springs yet but shortly in the near future I will because I would like to have stiffer springs on the Z.
