DatsunBoy77
Alright, i finally got the wiring almost done and it fired up finally after 3 weeks. It is am 83 turbo motor with the hydro head. My question is my t-stat housing has two sensors in it. One has a single round bullet connector coming out of it, and one is a two blade similar to the fuel injector plugs. Are they both suppose to be the bullet connector type? My car is running like the coolant temp sensor isnt plugged in so i am guessing that this may be my problem. If not, it may be the AFM. I have to swap back in the guts after the previous owner swapped them out with his NA guts. I guess i have some tunning.

Mudge
You have the head temp sensor hooked up, yes?
mobythevan
on my 83 eninge my two sensors at thermo housing are single wire. Temp sensor has bullet connector on sensor. Other one has short green wire coming out of the sensor then bullet connector. I remember my L26 having something like you describe.

mobythevan
water sender is further away from the head, other sensor with the green wire is closest to the head.
