Anyone know where to get a T88 that will be mounted to a LS1 or LT1 (still in the works). This is for a single setup.

For the double, whaddya guys think would be best for the GM?

The T88 is the greddy turbo right? I would bet you would have to get that from a Greddy dealer.

For a twin set-up, I would think something on the order of two 60-1's would be sweet, you would need to run a full T4 with a p trim turbine, and probably a good sized AR ratio on the housings, something in the .69 or larger range.

I would check with Innovative turbo, there is a mustang guy in Bham running one of their turbo's, and he is running low 7's in the 1/8th at 105mph or something insane like that. He likes their big single turbo, and says it spools pretty nice.

Good luck.

No offense, but for a big single turbo on a mustang that does not seem that fast. I went 7.2@102.7mph in the 1/8th. I think the potential on a V8 should be much higher. I am not saying 105mph is bad or anything!

James is right. Thats only low 11's in the quarter. I guess thats kinda fast, but I had a Mustang that ran 10.90's with an S-trim Vortech, 14psi. Plus a built motor, but still fully drivable and had AC.

I am not offended, but I think he was on drag radials only, and the site is down or I would verify what he ran.

I also think that was on 93 octane.

James your car is fast no doubt about it, and I know you were on Nitto's, but you were also using NOS to get moving, so traction wasn't such an issue when I saw you run, traction for this guy is an issue.

There are faster ones, there is a guy that has a 9 second one, but I haven't seen it yet.

I just sold two T-88H's to a dude that is going to put them on a pair of supras. The T-88's from Greddy are Mitsubishi turbos and they are bulitproof and make lots of power. I like them, but they are expensive and take time to get. I can order you one if you would like that for your SBC, or I can size you a Garrett unit that will rock.
