Dave240Z
I'd suggest you do nothing more to that engine at this point since you're already planning on an alternative engine later on. Save your $$$ and use it on the future engine which will definitely get you into the 14s, rather than trying to squeeze all kinds of N/A hp out of 2.8L to get a rather heavy Z car down the track in the 14s. Guest tt350
Go V8 Turbo! Imagine..... The lope and rumble of a v8 with the whine of a big turbo (and the hiss of a BOV if your into that, I kinda like em'). You could probably build a turbo v8 for a lot less money than a turbo l6. Carb'd turbo v8 that is Im still lookin at all the possibilites for a FI turbo v8, and ill keep yall posted. With this, you should be not in the 14s, but probably closer to 11's or maybe even tens (with a professionaly tuned engine)
katman
What you should do is determine a realistic budget. Then we can go from there. Shortly after that you should start using punctuation. Us old guys need that...
Mike C
Get yourself an N42 head from a 75-76 280Z. If you can get one cheap will make a tremendous difference in output throughout the rev range from the increased compression.
