John Washington
Some time ago (before the changeover) someone posted a request for information about drilling spot welds. May have been Eric Neyerlin and I'll email him directly. In case it wasn't, I just saw in the Harbor Freight catalog (http://www.harborfreight.com) a nifty looking Spot Weld Cutter Set, item number 02553. Happy Drilling! Sparky
I have a spot weld cutter from Eastwood CO. And must say thats its one handy lil tool. Sure does save alot of time. its nice to be able to cleanly remove brackets and such.
denny411
I bought one of the "cheapies" at a swap meet. Surprisingly, it has held up very well. I bought a few extra cutting bits for it, but haven`t had to use them yet. I`ve cut probably 30-40 spot welds and it sems just as sharp as new. It only cost about 6.
