Dayz
in is "z". That would be great and you'd have all the goodies to make it works. I would considere it if.... but Sorry guys I don't know how to post a link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2416652001&category=31864 Dayz

Racin_Jason
FWIW I recently test drove an Infinity G35 coupe with the same engine as the 350Z. I can tell you that it would be a very sweet engine for an early Z. The powerband is so linear and smooth. It makes the acceleration very decieving. Nice broad, flat torque curve Im sure. Redlines at 7K I believe and loves to rev to it and past Ive heard. Someone will do it eventually and Im sure they will be impressed with the results. 280HP AND 280TQ (G35 coupe version) with a fat powerband from about 2k to past red....yummy. I just might buy a G35 Coupe too. I mean DAMMIT that thing is sexy!! Jason
Racin_Jason
almost forgot to mention we mustn't forget about the ultra smooth 6-speed manual behind these engines
Guest 240hybrid
Theres a guy in the GA Z club Im in that was officailly the first to wreck a new 350z. He was hit by someone who ran a red light. Im not a fan of the 350 but that really must suck to get hit (especially not at fault) in you brand spankin new Z.
Guest Zachb55
i wonder what shape that engine must be in, for 2 grand, hmm, sounds like it must not be good though, he could easily get alot more then that for just a good engine... -Zach
Moridin
What is the rear differential setup. I know it's LSD, but from there I'm not sure. Pull the whole drivetrain out that thing and plunk it right down into 240Z.
john kosmatka
I have driven the g35 with an automatic but the power delivery was very smooth and linear. It felt like you were'nt even moving, but you were flying at the same time I loved it. I would love to through that motor in a z, too bad i dont have the money. Someone will do it eventually and it will make for one nice z.
Guest Anonymous
that would be an interesting swap there. the bids up pretty high now. i havnt driven a 350Z i had issues with some of the body styling. anyhoo im sure given its a nissan product that its quite smooth. how much lighter is the 240 than a 350?
