Guest JAMIE T
I'm looking at an intercooler core that is 22"x6". It flows top to bottom. It is a bar and plate type. On Bell's website, it says that core size and flow arrangement flows 714 CFM. Is that suffeciant for 400 some HP? It will be used on a L28ET for the time being until the stroker is done. 240Z Turbo
714/1.6=446hp ~ roughly Doesn't mean it will not support more, just decreased efficiency and more pressure drop.
Lockjaw
Why not get the spearco 221 core? Is is 18.48x6x3.5 top to bottom and flows 1050 cfm. Thats what I got. It works good too. Thats 656 hp according to Tims calculator. I know which way I would go.
